This 2 hour mini retreat has been designed to help you feel rejuvenated from the inside out.
Why is it important to connect the mind and body?
Medical evidence reveals a genuine reciprocal connection between the mind and body. Practices like meditation and other relaxation techniques have shown to alter not only mind-body, but also mind-heart connections. Meditation and relaxation practices can help shift mental perceptions and reactions to situations. By becoming aware of tension and anxiety, and connecting to the breath, the mind will relax and the body will too. Even taking a few moments out of a stressful day to breathe quietly can have similar effects. Essentially, we are what we think, eat, drink, say and breathe. Developing and applying mindfulness to all of these aspects of life can help us to maintain joyful mind-body connections.
Come and join me for a wonderful Release and Relaxation session at the studio
In this 2 hour workshop you will:
learn how to stretch achy areas
learn how to use a foam roller and ball to ease tension in your body
learn some amazing mobility exercises
learn some lovely releases to improve your posture and breathing
Experience some relaxation and meditation techniques to bring the body and mind together
Enjoy a pink salt and aromatherapy foot bath to revive tired feet!
I offer every participant an optional mini head/shoulders or low leg/foot massage during the relaxation part of the session.
The session finishes with some healthy snacks and a cup of herbal tea.
