 This consultation integrates several elements to ensure that I am treating you in a holistic way. 

  • A detailed history of your childbearing experiences including pregnancy, birth and recovery.
  • Discussion on how to maintain and/or recover your core and pelvic floor safely and effectively to improve long term health.
  • Advice on a range of remedial exercises and lifestyle factors aimed at speeding up recovery, preventing injury recurrence as well as improving posture, strength and abilities.

An in-depth consultation is a good place to start if you are postnatal and you have some issues that you want to address.


These could be:


  • Persistent back or pelvic pain
  • A weakened pelvic floor
  • A gap in your tummy muscles
  • A weakened pelvic floor
  • Heaviness in your vagina/pelvic floor
  • Pain or reduced mobility in any area of your body
  • Difficulty knowing which exercise are safe to do with your current condition
  • You have begun exercise but are finding that you are not getting the results you want
  • I will carry out a full health and lifestyle consultation with food diary analysis and give you feedback on this to help optimise your future health and lifestyle choices.
  • I will check your posture and alignment and core synergy function.
  • I will assess for trigger points and tension in the body that may be restricting your posture.
  • An internal pelvic examination will be offered if felt necessary to assess internal condition of the pelvic floor.
  • You will be given some homework including some bespoke exercises and stretches to strengthen and release areas of your body that need attention.
  • I offer a follow up email/text to see how you are progressing with your postnatal programme.
